IMAGING (WOMEN’S)

Tri-State’s cutting-edge Imaging and Women’s Diagnostic Center was the first of its kind in the region.

The large facility is designed for privacy. The Women’s Diagnostic Center is separate from the rest of the Imaging department, and changing rooms are located right next to the exam rooms.

Some of the preventative screenings available in the Women’s Diagnostic Center are:

Breast Ultrasound

This procedure provides diagnostic information that is different, but complementary to, mammography. It is particularly useful in evaluating palpable lumps, soft tissue masses and cysts. It is often the first choice for image-guided procedures because of the ease of use, safety and patient comfort.

Digital Mammography

This is the most advanced mammography imaging technology available for the detection of breast cancer. Procedures are quicker and images are clearer, making it easier to identify potential problem areas.

Bone Density Testing

This test measures the calcium content and density of your bones. Detection of abnormalities in this area, if caught early, can be treated and save you the possibility of a fracture later.

Stereotactic Breast Biopsy

This is a less invasive and more cost effective than other surgical methods. It also allows you to return to a normal routine in a shorter period of time.

Specially trained and certified technologists staff Tri-State’s Imaging and Women’s Diagnostic Center. Our two board-certified radiologists are Dr. John Mannschreck and Dr. John Whitaker.

Hours and Contact Information

Tri-State’s Imaging & Women’s Diagnostic Center is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm, with mammograms scheduled between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. For more information, call 758-4658.
