SUPPORT GROUPS

There are several support groups offered in Tri-State Memorial Hospital’s community rooms. Below is a list of the groups, contacts and meeting times.

Early Riser’s A.A. Support Group – Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 6:15 a.m. to 7 a.m.  Contact Wes Wallace, 208.791.1772.

A.W.A.K.E. Network – Sleep Apnea - A health awareness group for people affected by Sleep Apnea. Click here to download the 2011 meeting schedule or contact Sleep Diagnostic Services, 509.751.0223.

Bereavement Support Group – Coordinated through Home Health & Hospice.  Contact Tri-state Hospital Hospice, 509.758.2568.

Brain Injury Association Support Group – Meets the 2nd Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.  Contact Deby Smith, 208.305.4789.

Breast Cancer Support Group – Meets the 1st Wednesday of every month from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Contact Linda Malcolm from Owl Home Medical, 208.743.7766.

Kidney Support Group – Meets the last Thursday of every month from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the Lewis-Clark State College Campus, Reid Hall Room 202. Contact Sheila Devorak at SDevorak@tristatehospital.org.

MS Support Group – Meets the 4th Tuesday of every month from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Contact Ivan Ulmer, 208.743.2854 or Louise Lavoi, 509.758.2832.

Parkinson’s Group – Meets the 2nd Monday every month from 2-4 p.m.

US TOO Prostate Support - Meets the 1st Thursday every two months (January, March, May, July, September and November) from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Contact Jerry Gilbert, 509.751.6930.

Young Adult Diabetic Support Group- Come discuss and listen to various speakers on the topic of Diabetes. Meet new people, share and listen to stories from others who have Diabetes. Meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm in Conference Room A (beginning October 2010).
